On a sunny Sunday afternoon at the historic Placita Olvera in Los Angeles, a few hundred fans came out in support of Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez days before his rematch with Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz.
“I was so happy that all of the fans came out to support me today,” said Marquez. I want to make the Mexican people proud and to be victorious on July 31.”
The “Fight of the Year: Marquez vs.Diaz 2 The Rematch” will take place this Saturday, July 31 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas NV. and broadcast live on HBO Pay-Per-View.
Also in attendance was newly signed Golden Boy prospect Frankie Gomez, who will make an appearance on the undercard of Marquez Diaz 2. The East L.A native will be taking on Ricardo Calazada in his fifth bout as a pro.
